PRESENTATION
PROGRAMS
Keynote
presentations are thirty minutes to an hour and serve to
motivate and encourage attendees on one of the following topics:
Tajuana
TJ Butler Presents: When Fiction Meet Reality
Tajuana
TJ Butler uses the example of the characters in her novels, Sorority Sisters,
Hand-me-down Heartache, The Night Before Thirty, and the upcoming Just My
Luck to discuss the hardships that often come with womanhood. Issues to be
discussed range from abusive relationships to alcoholism to deferred dreams
to learning to love ones self despite shortcomings and mishaps. Because each
character that she has created deals with her own unique struggle, Tajuana
is able to demonstrate a variety of ways attendees can all learn from the
characters actions. This discussion is meant to inspire attendees to apply
the steps made by the characters to enrich their our own lives.
